New client starter guide

Once again, welcome to Edinbarre! You probably have lots of questions and we'll try to answer as many of them as possible.

How to use the booking website?

The booking website will open in a new window. To book a class you'll need to create an account which will only take a couple of minutes. Once the account is created the system will automatically give you a 'First class' credit which you can use to book your class, no online payment is required. The first class is £5, to be paid by cash on the day.

Can't make it to class? Not a problem, just make sure to cancel your reservation (online or by emailing us) 12 or more hours before class begins to avoid your class being removed from your account. If you cancel in time, your class will be returned to your account.

What to wear?

There's no real dress code just wear comfortable and not too loose workout clothes; leggings and a t-shirt is perfect. But if you'd like to add a bit of ballet flair to your outfit, feel free! You can wear Pilates/yoga socks or go barefoot. If you have plantar fasciitis or any foot trouble, you may even wear soft dance shoes.

What to bring?

All you need is yourself, a 'can do' attitude and some water (if you want). We provide all the equipment, including mats.

When to arrive?

When to arrive?

Some of our classes are running back to back so make sure you don't arrive too early; the main door opens straight into the studio space so you won't be able to come in. If it's your first time, please try arrive a few minutes early to fill out a short health assessment form. That will also gives us time to introduce ourselves and show you around the studio. This is also the time to let us know if you have any injuries that require modifications.
